SOLUTION - Leverage LSU Libraries’ unique position as the “heart of the university” by making communications products more accessible and effective. 

I AM SOLVING IT BY… 
Doing research with Library stakeholders around the current state of things: Communications needs, jobs to be done, gaps, and opportunities.
Meeting people where they are. I am currently focused on attracting undergraduate and graduate students to the abandoned social media platforms (specifically, Instagram). 
Creating templates and guidelines for librarians to create high-quality content that is modular/adaptable to different platforms. 
Transitioning LSU Libraries content and communications.
Ensuring branding and design guidelines are followed to communicate how the library is part of the LSU community.
Focusing on people, rather than only resources.

Communications Strategy for the launch and announcement of the acquisition of The Wyatt Houston Day Collection of Poetry by African Americans. The campaign was launched to celebrate Black Excellence during Black History Month 2022.
