CHALLENGE - Help Austin residents stay in their neighborhoods.
SOLUTION - Redesigning city services/experiences through content. I was part of a special team under a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies funded to research and redesign services that address displacement mitigation.

RESEARCH PROCESS AND LEARNINGS
Define and structure i-team’s knowledge and how to move forward.
I co-created the concept of Service Paradoxes.
WORK WITH NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Defined a new content framework for a City Council mandated website to inform homeowners of their options regarding selling their property.
Incorporated plain language guidelines and presented content in a step-by-step guide.
Developed the scope of work for Affirmative Marketing contracts.
Developed a content scorecard and guidelines to review existing Affirmative Marketing content and understand the department’s baseline.
DISPLACEMENT MITIGATION ACTION ACCELERATOR
Event designed to bring community ideas forward. This event required different content that participants needed to interact and work with.
Design and write pre-event content: GitHub site, newsletters and any other products regarding the event.
Design content that helped participants ideate, iterate and prototype their idea to fight displacement.
